MALDIVES BUSINESS EXPO
Privacy Notice
Updated 6 September 2026
Information you provide
Account registration collects your name, email, password and terms acceptance. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Accounts also hold role, status, verification information and registration and sign-in timestamps.
Exhibitor and sponsor enquiries
Forms collect contact name, email, company, phone, job title, industry, country, address and message as applicable. For exhibitor registrations, we also store the selected package and actual package price, payment method, registration reference and payment and registration statuses. Administrative verification and confirmation actions are recorded in the order history. Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. The public website does not collect payment-card data.
How information is used
The website uses account details to provide sign-in and account administration. The Expo Team can view submitted registration requests and enquiries to review participation, verify payments, confirm registrations and respond. Form submission does not sign you up to an advertising mailing list.
Cookies and security controls
Necessary session and CSRF cookies support sign-in and form security. Session cookies are HTTP-only, secure and use SameSite protection. Sign-in sessions have a maximum duration of 12 hours, or 30 days when Remember me is selected. Sign-in tokens are not stored in browser local storage.
Connection information and service providers
Requests pass through Cloudflare and the website server, which process connection information and may keep access and security logs. Temporary rate-limit identifiers help prevent repeated authentication attempts and spam. Hosting, infrastructure and email providers process information needed to operate the website and deliver transactional messages.
Analytics and communications
Cloudflare injects its Web Analytics performance beacon into public pages to measure visits and website performance. No advertising trackers have been added to the application. Registration and enquiry emails relate to the request you submitted. Account, registration and enquiry information is stored in MariaDB.
Access and security
Administrative access to package management, exhibitor orders and enquiry records is restricted to authorized administrators. The application uses validation, CSRF protection and request rate limits. No security certification is claimed.
Retention and requests
An automatic deletion schedule for accounts, registrations and enquiries has not been configured. Ask the Expo Team about retention, access, correction or deletion of your information through the Contact page. The team may need to verify your identity and explain any limits that apply to a request.
Contact
Use the Contact page and select General for a privacy question or request. This notice describes the current account, exhibitor registration and enquiry features.
